AKA Duvauchelle Special. This is a most rare and stunning red–in our opinion– among the best of all reds. This is a beautiful, deep red with a velvety finish to the rounded petals. A mild, sweet fragrance accompanies the gorgeous flowers. The leaves are a gorgeous purplish-red color–very unique! This is a registered cultivar, though not well known due to its scarcity.
