SS has a very large inflorescence with 3.5” flowers. The lovely light pink petals are twisted along the edges with a red splash inside. Most often the petals all twist near the bottom in the same direction for a cool, visual effect. Blooms have a sweet floral fragrance. Growth habit is decently compact. A very showy tree!
