This is a lovely variety of the Australian indigenous “Fruit Salad” plumerias. There are thought to be many cultivars of this exciting plant throughout Australia; all the products of open pollination. It’s origins are not certain. However, one thing is very clear: The sizzling oranges, reds and golds that such plumerias produce are amazing! The hotter the weather, the more deep and brilliant the colors become. In cooler weather, the colors appear in a lovely pastel version. This particular variety has 3.5″ blooms with a lovely sweet and spicy fragrance. Also, the prominent, contrasting red stripe on the side of each petal make this one sizzle! Rooted cuttings–NOT GRAFTS— averaging 13-18″ tall, measured from the soil line.
