This is one we haven’t even been able to sell rooted cuttings of yet! The tree is just now at an age where we could beging to make a few cuts–and this is its very first seedpod–a large one at that! This red plumeria from Down Under is a real beauty—velvety red, deep and blood colored, full, generous petals, with a little orange in the very center.(Reds are notoriously hard to photograph and this picture just does not do it justics!) The inforescence stalk is pendulous (hangs downward) and the 3.5 inch blooms have a lovely, sweet perfume. Later on we’ll be able to offer a few plants but for now,we can offer these seeds for the very first time. I know of no one else in the US having this tree in any noteworthy size and certainly not the seeds thereof.
